 Thank You Kingston!

Our two year opportunity at the 193 Princess Street location ended April 30, 2011.

On behalf of the 18,214 visitors, 58 partners and dozens of volunteers, the Centre staff wants to express our appreciation to Phillip Brown for his generous support in providing us with this rent free space!!!

We are developing and evaluating multiple re-location opportunities and will keep you posted on this website with our progress.

Community Classroom and Education Outreach

 We Recycle Your Batteries

The Kingston Sustainability Centre has an arrangement with the Department of Solid Waste of the City of Kingston to collect old household batteries. Many people know “why” protecting the environment is important but sometimes the “how” eludes us. However, once the “how” is discovered it spreads like wildfire. That is how one battery quickly, turned into thousands. The Kingston Sustainability Centre acts as a drop off point for used household batteries. Please drop them off and let us take care of them for you.
