Join the Journey 01 May 2010
It is with great enthusiasm that we can announce a grant approval from the Ontario Go Green Fund for a summer youth-led community based social marketing campaign. Join the Journey will be designed by three post secondary students over the months of May and June. The trio will then hire a team of high school students to execute the program during July and August. The aim of the program will be for people of Kingston to pledge to reduce thier electricity, water and waste. Students will be going around door-to-door through various neighbourhoods in the city. You will also be able to find them at several events through out the summer and of course, at the Kingston Sustainability Centre.
