Leading Lights Initiative 29 October 2009
The KSC participated in a workshop designed to assemble and deliver high quality solar powered LED lanterns to professionals working in rural and remote communities throughout the developing world by engaging and connecting a wide variety of Kingston Area partners, each with a resource contribution to make. Kits with all the components required to build the lanterns, along with the training and technical support needed for the collaborative group to be successful were donated.
