Christmas Light Exchange 27 November 2010
Want to reduce your energy consumption this holiday season? Come to RONA this weekend to trade your energy intensive, incandescent Christmas Lights for a 50% discount on energy efficient LED lights! Our team of KSC volunteers will be at the Princess Street RONA, Saturday, Nov. 27th and Sunday, Nov. 28th from 10-3 collecting your old Christmas lights to be recycled by KIMCO Recycling. In return for properly disposing of your old lights, you will receive a coupon from Rona for 50% off LED Christmas lights (limit of 5) that use up to 90% less energy!
Post event update: We collected 282 strands of incandescent Christmas lights over the weekend at Rona!
